cleaning & caring for your feltis
1. Fortunately, wool has a natural ability to self-clean, so your feltis will stay clean if you just air them out on a sunny day.
2. To remove stains, we suggest that you gently dab the stain with a wet cloth. An extremely diluted mixture of water and washing powder could be used on tougher stains. You may have to repeat the process a few times, but make sure that you always leave the shoes to dry before starting the process again.
3. Vacuum or blow your feltis clean from dust. Leather soles can be brushed and cleaned with a leather brush.
4. Your feltis usually shed within the first 3-4 weeks of wear, giving you a long-lasting comfortable feel for years to come. This is normal due to the natural treatment of our wool. Simply cut the shedding fibers off with scissors or a shaver and discard as desired.
